Our new method of manufacturing campers is the sandwich panel. The panel consists of a fibreglass interior and exterior skin with an insulating structural core.

The panels are exceptionally strong, lightweight, easily repairable and impervious to water damage therefore creating a far superior product to what was previously available, or what almost all other manufacturers currently use. Our panel is not just a fibreglass sheet covering a frame or ply sheeting.

The problems of frame fracture, rot, rust and oxidation are now a thing of the past, it is impossible for these common manufacturing deficiencies to occur using our panel.

Islander have been making campers using this particular sandwich panel for over five years and there have been a lot of accumulated kilometres of testing.
